Happy Canada Day July 1st!


A tradition for many people is to spend July 1st in St. Andrews to celebrate Canada Day

7:00 am –10:30am  Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast at Fire Hall.

9:00am –   3:00pm  Information Booth at Town Hall 
9:00am –   2:00pm Games! (Scavenger Hunt& Find Saint Andrew, register at info                 booth)
10:00 am - 5:30 pm Kingsbrae Garden – Red & White Plant Sale – 25% off 
10:00 am –   Flag Raising (Royal Canadian Legions from Charlotte County) 
10:00 am –   Games & Face Painting Organized by: Youth Centre and the Algonquin Hotel & Resort at Market Square
10:00 am – 4:00 pm Non-Profit Vendors Water Street – Farmers’ Market on King 
11:00 am --   Afghan Memorial Ceremony at Kingsbrae Garden 
11:00 am –   Saint Mary’s Band Concert at Market Square
11:00 am –1:00 pm Live Entertainment in Market Square and also from 7PM till Fireworks! – 
12:00 pm –1:00 pm Children’s Races on Water St. (Pop & hotdogs at Legion (270 Queen St.) for racers until 2pm)  
12:00 pm –4:00 pm Reception Sheriff Andrews House (Food & refreshments) – Kingsbrae Garden CafĂ© Special
1:00  pm – 2:00pm– Canada Day Parade(Bring food item for FOOD BAN leave at info booth in front of Town Hall (Floats to line up and start from Indian Point. Parade starts at 1 PM.) 



2:00 pm – Antique Car Contest on Water Street
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Ross Museum Open House – (refreshments & children’s crafts) 
2:30 pm – 9:00pm– Live Entertainment in Market Square
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm –  Ross  Museum (Live Music) 
3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Minister Island Tour available
3:00 pm – Day Cake Cutting – Mayor and Council at Town Hall-Prizes for Parade & Games presented after cake cutting!
3:00 pm – Children’s Dog Show – Anglican Church Hall Grounds King Street Reservations Required Please) 

5:30 pm -  10:00 pm New Artisan Menu launched at Europa Restaurant- book your table early and see the fireworks right from                                                         our porch!

Seafood Festival St. Andrews, June 7-10, 2012





Late spring is in full swing, nature is bursting with colour and the air is fresh, our little town is starting to buzzle after its long winter!
To kick-off the season, plan to stop by for the Seafood festival!
This annual festival started out as a tradeshow and conference for the local seafood industry. Now it has grown into a multi-day festival for everyone that is yummy, educational and fun!
Join us this weekend at Europa Restaurant for a 7 course seafood tasting menu paired with All-New-Brunswick wines
$60pp; $75pp incl. wine.

Saturday, June 9th, 5-7pm

we're excited to welcome the Plein Air Painters of the Bay of Fundy- a group of professional land-and seascape painters. Members will meet June 8th and 9th in St. Andrews to paint in and around town. We invite you to stop by Europa Inn Lobby on Saturday from 5-7pm and view the works that they created over the weekend! Nibblies are served. This is a FREE event, so bring a friend!

Charlotte County Blooms

Spring is sprung here in St. Andrews, the birds are singing and the grass is getting greener by the day!
it surely has been a mild winter and early spring, it feels so great (coming from Germany with Spring starting usually early march, haha).
this year the Charlotte County Gardening Club is hosting their annual 'Blooms' event April 28th, 9am-3pm, and it will be bigger than ever!
Guest Speakers will be renown gardener and published author Marjorie Harris  on the topic: "Let's Stop Making Ugly Gardens" and
Dr. Charles Hope on the topic: "Growing Cacti & Succulents"
